Essentially an oversized fanny pack, the Side Pack is built for daily carry, hiking, and travel. The straps are adjustable and removable to allow for cross-body or waist carrying, and can be tucked away for use as a hand bag. The long, curved zipper opening grants the user easy access and visibility to the contents of the bag. Interior organization pockets will keep your small items where you need them. The exterior attachment points allow for more versatility with places for a tripod, umbrella, or rain shell and MOLLE accessories. The X-Pac material and YKK Aquaguard zipper make for a seriously weather-resistant bag.

This run of Side Packs was manufactured by Industrial Stitch Tech in North Hollywood, California. IST has been in business since 1996. They make soft goods that meet the highest standards of quality—among the best we have seen from manufacturers domestically or abroad.

X-PAC VX21 is a high performance fabric developed by Dimension-Polyant Inc. based on racing sailcloths. A laminate sandwich of a DWR coating, 210d nylon for abrasion resistance, an X grid for stability and strength, a nonporous film for water proofing, and a polyester taffeta backing for durability create a material that is lighter, stronger, and more waterproof than traditional woven nylons.
