What is pour over coffee?

Pour-over coffee extraction is the most basic yet enjoyable method to prepare a delicious cup of handcrafted coffee. By pouring a slow and steady stream of hot water over a freshly ground coffee grind, you extract a full-flavored yet delicate cup of coffee with more nuance and subtlety than with any other extraction methods. The relaxing process, the ability to dial-in, and the delicious outcome are not estranged to its popularity.

Does the Cuppamoka heat up the water?

No. In order to prepare your coffee, you will have to use some hot water from an external source.

Is the Cuppamoka dishwasher safe?

No, it is not. We recommend you wash your Cuppamoka under running water and wipe with a clean cloth. Then allow all the parts to dry completely before reassembling.

Is the Cuppamoka microwave safe?

No. The main part of the brewer (the mug) is made with stainless steel, which is not microwave safe. The ideal way to heat water in a microwave is with a glass container.

Does the Cuppamoka meet safety standards?

Cuppamoka complies with major international safety approvals (FDA, EU, RoHS, LFGB, GB) regarding food contact materials. Plastic materials, in contact with food, used in the manufacturing of the Cuppamoka are listed BPA free.

Is there a warranty?

We warrant the Cuppamoka against defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover replacement of the O-rings.
